Family Announces Chief Mayaki Akpeji's Death~NEWSEXTRA

Mayaki family in Anona community of Igarra has anounced the sudden death of their Traditional head and Chairman,Eziobe traditional council Chief Joseph Mayaki Akpeji's in Akoko Edo local government.

In a statement issued by the Anona community,it was said that seven days traditional rites have started since Friday and all the sacrament will end on thursday.

"A source revealed to our reporter that the cause of chief Akpeji's death was linked with the abomination committed by one of his family members UPE JAMGBADI who  committed adultery".

"In Anona family it is forbidden to commit an adultery while you're still married and the bride price is not returned yet, the source said".

"Also an elder in the family who claimed annoymous said UPE JAMGBADI needs to come to the community for sacrifice with her children because it is necessary for her to undergo spiritual and traditional cleansing".

"He noted that if she refused to come for the rituals, calamities will continue to befall the family now and  in the future, the elder also revealed to our reporter that  one of Upe Jamgbadi's elder brother is down with strange illness.

Meanwhile, there is a serious fight and tension in the family as everyone are on their toes to make sure Upe Jamgbadi and her sons are brought to the family shrine where the traditional cleansing will be performed in other to avoid sudden death  and illness in the family.

However Upe Jamgbadi's whereabout is still unknown as at the time of filling this report and the Anona family are still putting pressure on Upe's family to produce her and bring her to the shrine for the necessary cleansing over the abomination she committed.
