A gubernatorial aspirant under the banner of APC, Engineer Afolabi Lawal Ayoade has vowed to turned Osun to an industrial state when he become the governor of the state September 2018.
The Iwo_born man Engineer Lawal with meritorious educational background and entrepreneurial power who has made remarkable achievement in the private sector is bringing his outstanding experience and skills into government business with politics with an uplifting transformational agenda.
My political ambition is to summed up in his willingness to help the poor and the needy in other to bring happiness to the greatest numbers of Osun people, this clarion call, to his surprise was endorsed by the local government and leaders of his darling party APC.
He said am the right man to be the next governor of Osun state and he believed masses will vote for me with his experience and unrelenting projects he have done , i may not have hold any political office before but i have the conscience of a good leader and an understanding of one who can guide Osun state. Under my watch, all men and women will have a voice in decision making Lawal said.
He said i have a cordial relationship with the current Osun State governor Ogbeni Rafiu Aregbsola and other great leaders of our party, and have vow to transformed the state with my best knowledge and may God help me, am a grassroots man and i also love to give out quota to the poor once out of my sweat, i have experience in managing people because have also tasted how hard is it to be rooming about with CV looking for job, He disclosed this while speaking with newsmen in his office, at Lekki Phase 1 on Friday .
He said i appreciated the good work of governor Aregbsola for a job well-done since he as emerged as the governor of the state, he rated him as the best governor of Osun state so far.
Meanwhile he promised to make education more standard in Osun when he become the governor come September 2018. Ogbeni Rafiu done well on Education and promised to follow his footsteps.
He said my government will support farming fully as he will bring hefty equipment for farming to the state. Nigeria as a hole, we all need to go back to farming because that is our old style that can give us good resources and we should stop depending on oil money to move and take our nation higher, farming can also give a state a good wealth to take care of our people, remembered chief Obafemi Awolowo successful as a farmer and must of our leaders in Nigeria today benefited from his free Education during the western regime, so he will not take farming with levity hand when i become the governor.
He said on education he will make sure basic education is back fully in Osun state by telling the teachers to always taught the students the way we learned in the olden days, technology as make so many students daft, that most of primary and secondary school people's can't even read multiplication time table again due to technology advantages, this need to stop and encourage our student to be active and read their books very well, so that will help them in university among other people's. He will also be going to classes to teach them anytime he is free as a governor.
Meanwhile chances of APC is high and they will produce the next governor of Osun state because of their strong passion development agenda wish is my priority as well, development should be number one key focus of a leader, he said he will concentrate on human development which will enable to maximize capital resource and bring new development to Osun.
Lastly youth should be more focus and should not be a political thugs for any Aspirant ahead of September election. Youths are the leader of today and not tomorrow lets vote wisely and make sure you vote for APC again.
