The attention of the leadership of NANS EKITI has been purported information making rave and going round air by some set of unscrupulous element,posted by one Mrs Ajisafe of Busary department of College of Health Sciences and Technology, IJERO-EKITI.To SSANIP WhatsApp group, IJERO-EKITI chapter on the congratulatory message of NANS EKITI.
Stated that,The leadership of NANS EKITI collected the sum of 1.2M to support the appointment of MODUPE OKUNUGA OSATUBERU as the Acting Provost of the college.
As we all know that silient is no longer the only answer for a fool , we want to clear the air by openly debunked denounced and discredit, completely from such show of brazenly senseless and inordinate action.
We have duly consult our legal adviser,for blackmailing Olomosola name and our dear association and legal proceedings will follow in short time.
We want to further explain that OLU MIGHTY remain the voice of the Nigerian Students as EKITI is concern,and he has never betrayed the interest of the students for once to the extend of loosing his studentship on the cause of fighting for students. To those who are behind this fake news,Nigerian Students strongly believe the leadership of OLOMOSOLA OLUBUNMI.
NANS is a principled students organization body under an integrity driven leaders who care about the betterment and improvement in the welfare of the entire Nigerian students. As much as we are an association that combine social, academic and political factors in the way we run our affairs.
we are youths that have the right to associate with political parties and be involved in political process,NANS EKITI as a whole is non partisan when it comes to politics and should therefore not be dragged into any political mess.
We entire NANS EKITI. hereby use this medium to distance ourselves from political propaganda that flies around with respect to Congratulatory press release on the occasion of the Appointment of the Acting Provost of the College of Health Science and Technology Ijero Ekiti by the Governing Council on the premises of resignation of Bayo Ojo the Outgoing Provost We strongly condemned maladministration of Bayo Ojo in the College and that we can never be linked to money scandals or any bribery from him against our conscience.
We represent students' interest to foster development, progress, unity in the College among staff and students as against the despirate politics of power tussle as being propagated by some quarters. We know the New Acting Provost,Oshatunberu Modupe was never part of Bayo Ojo maladministration as she only became Deputy Provost barely two months ago.
We strongly warned against unwanted scandals against the body of NANS EKITI as we can not be dragged into dirty politics of power tussle over developmental and progressive agenda of incoming Administration of Dr. John Kayode Fayemi, Governor Elect of Ekiti State.
The entire COHEST students and staffs can always be rest assured that,OLU-MIGHTY, cannot be a tool in the hand of any politician likes,or be reduced to a subject of ridicule.
Who ever keeps mute during the time of tyranny,is either a traitor or a coward.
