2019... NIGERIAN YOUTH... COME OUT!!! Otunba Abayomi Odunowo

I have lived a blessed life. All through. It's never been bed of roses though, but through it all, I love my life and I thank God Almighty for a beautiful life.

So I feel I owe to the young people of this generation the truth about the power they have if they stand for what is right which is Good Governance.

When we were young, we had quality Education... we were ready to take on the labour and industrial market! We were set for showdown in any sector, we were prepared for whatever challenges that we were to face...

Yes! My generation (50s and early 60s) came, saw and conquered! We were the ones behind every revolution you can think of that started in the 80s through to the 90s.
Whatever revolution we met, we took to the next level and where nothing was happening, we started a heavy revolution.

In Telecoms, Entertainment, Sports, Education (especially abroad as my Friend Prof Adebimpe Natty is one of the best professors of Science in the world!), Banking sector... but we missed in one... Politics!

We left it for people we considered were not so competent to be in the Business world. Unknown to many of us that Governance is the Biggest of all Most Serious Businesses in the world! Any country that misses it in Governance misses in everything!

Well, some of us realised earlier than "Too LATE" and jumped into politics and so far we have started seeing some promises... the truth is that there is hope...

So what am I trying to say?

Nigerian Youth! Listen to this Clarion Call from a man who lived a fulfilled youthful life through to the stage I am now... An adult who believes in the Power of the Youth!

Arise from wherever you have planted yourself... get interested in politics... you might not run for an office but start getting interested and be enthusiastic about the political happenings in Nigeria...partake in Public Opinions, do not think that it is not your business. You don't have an idea of the damage you are causing by your inactivity paving ways for incompetent ones.

A Young Nigerian Leader I so much cherish of your generation once said

"When the people are not informed and are not political active, even a good person might be tempted to steal"

I conclude today by saying to Nigerian Youths... Only you people can change the Equation!

I shout therefore at the TOP of my voice to all the YOUTH...

C O M E!!!!! OUT!!!!!!!!!!!!

1. Learn about your country!

2. Prepare your mind for the type of government you desire!

3. Mobilise your people!

4. Plan to run for office too or

5. Plan to support someone with good ideals!

6. Stand firm! And stand United!

Nigeria is in for a BIG Shock!

Because the Youth will Show Forth the power in their UNITY!!!

As for me... I am Standing with the Youth!
